M21 Pre-release UB Reanimate

For control players, UB Reanimate is a dream. However, we seldom see a control deck in limited. It's too demanding on not just a few cards with great synergy but three to four card types. A regular UB control needs a few Discard, plenty of Removals, some Counterspells and Draw Spells and at least one Finisher. Let's try to fit in the above card types into an M21 sealed deck. Discard Removals Counterspells Draw Spells  From my experience, a deck like this can't survive for a few turns of beating from WR, UW flyers or even Blue Green or Red Green. 1/3  Vodalian Arcanist and 0/3 Obssessive Stitcher can't do much on blocking, 5 mana Finishing Blow is a bit too slow.  I think the best way to help UB get through early turns is adding Green into the deck. Probably, we should choose Green as the main color and another color depending on the mana cost. If I opened Pestilence Haze and Grasp of Darkness, I would bu...

M21 Pre-release 'What's in my opponent's hand?'

It's a question you always ask when attacking/blocking with your creatures. Removals When you block with more than one creature, your opponent probably wants to kill one of them and let the attacker kill other blockers.  You should check and memorize the conditions (mana cost, damage range, restrictions) of each card before the pre-release. Pumps/Protections  An "impossible" attack or block means your opponent is holding one of those cards. Cards Responding to Your Removals Your opponent hold them and wait for you to cast removals on their creatures. Something special Let's call it the best trick up their sleeves Please like my facebook page:  Gamingroomhk

M21 Limited UW Flyers (Pre-release guide)

What cards make you build UW Flyers? Only all three cards appear in my sealed card pool will I consider UW. What are the "removals"? Though not "real" removals, they are the best a UW flyers get. You are going to face WG counters, which creatures can be "reset" by returning to hand, destroyed with Swift Response and Legion's Judgment when grow out of control. Frost Breath is probably an acceptable replacement to Read the Tides. The Game Plan vs Green X decks Once your opponent obtains 6 mana to activate Skyway Sniper,  you 2 toughness flyers will fall one by one, turn by turn --  that's not as deadly a problem it sounds. Your 2/2s and 3/2s will have done enough damage at that time. As for Snarespineer, you need one of these tricks: vs WG counters and all other faster decks You shouldn't expect UW Flyers to kill off creatures like Blue Black of Green Black. It's more i...
