Among the removals, if logic in MTG world - perpetually lacking it - works in the next few weeks, a card - exiling, highly color friendly, plus mana bonus - should shine. I 'm talking about Gild. With 3B mana cost and giving one five color mana ramp bonus, it fits well into the new wedge standard.
But if logic does works in MTG, who can tell me why people are not buying potential THS block cards? I'm saying the mono color cards: They are of high chances getting used in multiple decks. Taking Elspeth as an example, even UW control leaves the mainstream, it's possible to be a decent 6 drop in Orzhov, Naya, Boros, Abazan, Mardu. If the decks collectively take a share as big as UW control plus Orzhov deck last year, Elspeth should be much higher than its current price when THS supply shrinks. The rule can be applied to Nissa, Worldwaker, Chandra, Pyromaster, Brimaz, King of Oreskos, Courser of Kruphix, Polukranos, World Eater, Stormbreath Dragon.
Compared to these safe bets, muticolor cards are rather risky. I think the securest dual color is green-black. People have confirmed Abazan(Junk) as a competitive type and Jund will probably migrate to the next standard and Sultai may take some share in the meta.
Choices are always there for people like taking more risk. Go for the less popular mono color Mystics from M15, like Ajani Steadfast, Jace, the Living Guildpact and all five Souls. It's easy to get 50% profit from these cards if some professional players pick them and make into top 8 in events.
If you decided to sail into madness, chaos and crazy profit, bet on the multicolor cards under the radar since THS. When one wedge deck using them wins a big event, you 'll get at least triple returns. But losing 50% or more in these cards are equally easy( check Ral Zarek, Armada Wurm, Obzedat, Ghost Council). I recommend buying Ajani, Mentor of Heroes, Iroas, God of Victory, Xenagos, God of Revels
Ultimate risk - Duel Deck 2015: Do you think they will make a duel dekc this year? Jace was the victim of 2014. For me, I am an adventurer. I bet they don't make one. Haven't you read they are selling a Duel Deck collection box set? I regard it as an end of the product type. Bless me right.
