In mana cost, planeswalkers are generally pricy. Supporting by green ramp cards is likely the only way planewalker decks can be built around. The decks are probably in wedge colors, as we want to include the best standard planewalkers in our decks. I think Jund(GBR) and Junk(GBW) are two well designed wedges for planeswalker decks.
Jund decks:
Nissa, Xenagos and Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker are win conditions. Until dropping the planeswalkers, we use Thoughseize, Anger of the Gods, Arc Lightning to hold the line. The mana ramp part is made of Mytic Elf, Sylvan Caryatid and Courser of Kruphix. We have Liliana Vess, Chandra Pyromaster and Read the Bones in our decks to get card advantages.
Sample list:
Junk deck:
Planeswalkers in Junk are slower than Jund - we don't have haste Xenagos, Dragonspeaker- also, Junk doesn't have enough early removals dealing with aggros. Lucky, I saw most aggro decks after KTK are not so fast as RTR ones and most of the creatures have 2 or less toughness. We can add 3-4 Drown in Sorrow as early sweepers but Drown, unlike Arc Lightning is effortless against Control decks. We use Elspeth as finisher, combining with the add up effects of Sorin, Solemn Visitor and Ajani, Mentor of Heroes. The Mana base is showing the same style as Jund and card advantage is offered by Ajani, Read the Bones and Liliana. Much like today's WB devotion decks, popularity of Junk relies on how good creature based decks perform in meta game. If fast aggros can't hit Junk early , I'll say no creature deck will. Think of the interaction between Ajani Mentor, Banishing Light/Suspension Field, Garruk/Elspeth and even Retribution of the Ancients. I think the designers of KTK bless Ajani Mentor much more than his incarnation in M15.
Sample List:
Naya deck:
Naya seems to be a deck grabbing the best from both worlds. It retains the low cost red solutions to aggros and exiling white removals, allied with Ajani Mentor and Chandra for card advantage, generates haste attackers from Xenagos and Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker. Against Stormbreath Dragon and hexproof monsters, we can add Elspeth or cast a Chord of Calling for Arbor Colossus.
