UG Bounce Aggro

Ugh, guess someone 's done the deck before, but it doesn't stop me from making another. The main combo is Profaner of the Dead plus high toughness creatures - Dragon's Eye Savants, Monastery Flocks and Jeskai Barricade- to wipe out opponent's side every time Profaner resolves. Securing our victory, our second plan is Assault Formation on the walls mentioned above. As we have many Morph walls, Morph becomes the secondary theme for our deck. Secret Plans, Obscuring Æther and Trail of Mystery, maybe? How good is Mastery of the Unseen in our deck? Also, Morphies are colorless, I think we can give a shot to Ghostfire Blade. What's more, I 'd like to add Rally the Ancestors against Crux and End Hostility. It 'll make a good deck, right? Tell me how it far goes.

Deck Types in the new Standard

If red aggro decks remain popular, we can make some predictions for decks after the release of Magic Origins - it also means the rotation of M15, at which  Stoke the Flames ,  Foundry Street Denizen ,  Goblin Rabblemaster  rotate from Standard. At that time, Monastery Mentor may take the place of Rabblemaster in token decks or Jeskai burn decks. Mentor may should be fine in RW burn decks. I think it's slower than Rabblemaster, if not, why people use the goblin instead of it? If the aggro decks are slower after Magic Origins, I think Ugin has a chance to rise from its current level, maybe back to 18 tix (where it was before promo Ugin swept the market). Blue based control decks use Ugin as one of the finishers. They are now struggling to survive in a standard full of creatures too fast for mass removal to take down or resisting these removals. Months later, they may see more plays and Dig Through Time may rise to around 3-4 tix and stay there before the rotation of KTK. But it m

The Rolling Stones

I saw an interesting wall deck on MTGgoldfish by  RJHendricks. Creatures (28) 4 Jeskai Barricade 0.04 4 Nyx Weaver 0.04 4 Satyr Wayfinder 0.04 4 Siege Rhino 8.00 4 Sylvan Caryatid 1.60 4 Wall of Mulch 0.04 2 Purphoros, God of the Forge 7.82 2 Wall of Essence 0.02 Spells (10) 4 Commune with the Gods 0.04 4 Rally the Ancestors 0.08 2 Assault Formation 1.90 Lands (23) 4 Sandsteppe Citadel 0.04 4 Windswept Heath 13.36 3 Forest 0.00 2 Llanowar Wastes 5.92 2 Plains 0.00 2 Temple of Malady 28.38 2 Temple of Plenty 2.90 2 Wooded Foothills 6.52 1 Caves of Koilos 3.12 1 Mountain 0.00 I think  Shamanic Revelation  is one of the essentials for this kind of deck, as from my past experience, wall decks aren't lack of creatures on the battlefield. I also like the combo of Purphoros, Commune with the Gods and Rally the Ancestors.

Let's make a Deck of the Dead

Today I rewatched Dawn of the Dead 2005. Why don't we make a Deck of the Dead? Creatures almost coming back to play regularly are: Bloodsoaked Champion 2/1       1B: return it to play if you attacked the turn Den Protector      2/1       Morphy: Return any card form the graveyard to hand Tymaret, the Murder King 2/2 1B sacrifice a creature: return it back to play Marang River Prowler 2/1 2U: cast it from graveyard if you control a  green/black creature Flamewake Phoenix 2/2 R: Return to play if you control a 4 power creature Deathmist Raptor 3/3 Morphy anoth Deck 1 First, I want to try a Sultai deck with Bloodsocked, Prowler and Deathmist Raptor. The deck may also include Soulflayer combo pieces. The list: Sylvan Caryatid  4 Satyr Wayfinder  4 Den Protector 4 Marang River Prowler 2 Deathmist Raptor 4 Soulflayer  4 Chromanticore  4 Sagu Mauler  1 Pharika, God of Affliction  3 Crux of Fate 2 Commune with the God
